We’re excited to host a special networking event, Have Your Cake and Eat It Too, right here at Bethesda Gardens Terre Haute on Tuesday, February 20 from 3:30-5:30PM. In addition to enjoying some sweet treats (which everyone deserves in the middle of winter), visitors will have the chance to meet and mingle with our senior care professionals, including our Executive Director Lisa Dashiell and our Health Services Director, Jacci Stewart, LPN.
We hope you’ll join us and find out more about our mission of inspired service—and what we’re doing to make an impact on our residents, their families, and the community we serve. Here’s a little bit about Jacci, and what she enjoys most about our senior living community.
Jacci Stewart love chess pie, an old-fashioned Southern favorite passed down from generation to generation.
She also believes in something else passed down from generation to generation at Bethesda Senior Living Communities: “Inspired Service.” For her that means creating “a presence or atmosphere that makes our residents, guests and staff feel special with a positive impact on their well-being, health and life. Inspired by continuity.”
As Health Services Director for almost four years at Bethesda Gardens Terre Haute, Jacci daily provides care, love and attention to our residents and employees. “They don’t always need just medical attention, but a little love and compassion goes a long way,” she said.
Bethesda Gardens provides a faith-based assisted living community that embraces the mission of selfless service for the social, spiritual and physical health of our residents. Residents receive personalized care in a secure environment with enriching activities.
One of her favorite memories in recent years has been providing care to her high school algebra teacher in our Memory Care community. “I am proud to work for Bethesda Gardens because I know from my heart that we provide the best care and a great living environment for our residents,” Jacci said.
For anyone researching assisted living communities, she advises, “Look for a community that not only offers the best care, but will also offer an atmosphere that is warm and inviting. As close to home in feeling as possible.”
Share some pie and conversation with Jacqueline at our upcoming "Have Your Cake and Eat It Too” event. See you there!
